Position Overview
CHIMI is actively seeking an International Sales Executive to drive growth through the development of existing accounts and the acquisition of new business. In alignment with CHIMI’s growth plan, you will establish sustainable and profitable growth. Tactical and strategic, this hands-on role is key to enabling partners and customers to fulfill their potential.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Accountability & Operational Execution:
- Drive targeted sales efforts to achieve sustainable, profitable growth while aligning with strategic business goals.
- Implement account plans and sales strategies with a hands-on approach, ensuring optimal execution across all channels and maintaining CHIMI’s premium positioning.
Market Planning, Forecasting & Data Analysis:
- Participate in elaborating comprehensive market plans, including growth projections, budget forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Regular follow up on market performances.
Account Management & Operational Excellence:
- Manage all aspects of account plans, from business terms and contract negotiation to order book administration and daily operational tasks.
- Maintain precise account documentation, handle order processing, and oversee the sell-in/sell-out cycle, ensuring alignment with logistics and inventory management.
Customer Relationship Management & Sales Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale partners, ensuring exceptional service and strategic alignment.
- Provide tactical support, from preparing sales materials and line sheets to resolving claims and coordinating communication for seasonal collections.
Sales Analysis, Reporting & Strategic Action:
- Provide soft / hard facts feedback from markets, customers and/or partners to adapt actions and maximise potential.
- Provide products feedback and performance data where available to inform decisions.
Operational Coordination, Logistics & Administration:
- Manage the end-to-end order process, including availability checks, order intake, confirmations, and shipment coordination.
- Maintain up-to-date customer and order data in the ERP system (Microsoft Business Central), ensuring data integrity and troubleshooting system issues as needed.
Financial Oversight, Credit Management & Reporting:
- Assist in financial management for wholesale partners, including invoicing, credit limits, and payment tracking.
- Provide feedback to support budget planning and assist in reviewing partner risks or opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in sales execution, account coordination, and operational support, preferably within premium or fashion-focused brands.
- Demonstrated success in implementing wholesale expansion strategies that align with brand positioning and market goals.
- Proven experience collaborating with agents and distributors to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset
- Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, with a strategic mindset to align financial planning with overall business objectives.
- Advanced analytical skills to assess sales data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
Operational Excellence:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing order processing, logistics coordination, and sales administration.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred), with the ability to maintain accurate account data, manage order flows, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving, capable of executing initiatives end-to-end while managing multiple priorities under pressure.
Creative & Strategic Problem Solving:
- Ability to think creatively to address operational challenges, propose new sales initiatives, and enhance customer engagement.
- Experience in visual merchandising and market activation, identifying opportunities to elevate brand presence and optimize product presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain brand integrity through strategic pricing, discount management, and targeted account segmentation.
Communication & Relationship Management:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate brand positioning and align customer expectations with strategic objectives.
- Skilled in conducting business reviews, leading product presentations, and managing high-level client interactions to foster long-term partnerships.
- Culturally aware and adaptable, with the ability to engage effectively with international partners and diverse stakeholders.
Language & Cultural Competence:
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a strong asset, for navigating international markets and fostering stronger customer relationships.
